Great News!

We are thrilled to announce we have received a grant of £223,624, over a period of 3 years, from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK. We are a small project and the grant will have a massive input on our sustainability, enabling us to continue supporting young people in our community.

Thank you everyone who purchases their lottery tickets to make this grant possible and to the National Lottery Community Fund

Homeless Project Bags setup

Homeless - Bags 1 Homeless - Bags 6

Our Youth Workers have been working with young people in the new Burnhope Community Centre, funded by a grant from the local Area Action Partnership since September with as many as 20 – 25 young people attending every Friday evening.

The group are working alongside Youth Focus North East on a homeless project; this was at their own request. They have put back packs together containing personal items, i.e. soap, toothpaste & brush as well as lightweight waterproof coats and an Easter egg. Working with YMCA Chester-Le-Street they are now deciding the best way to distribute them.
